Session information and frequently asked questions.
Newborn Sessions
These sessions are best done from 4 - 21 days old. They can be done up to 6 weeks old but these tend to produce more wakeful pictures. This is because they tend to be sleepier during the early time, and more easily posed and repostioned into cute and comfy poses. Each newborn shoot can last from 2 - 4 hours, in my home studio, and can be personalised to your needs.
The safety of your baby is paramount, I will not attempt any postions that I feel are unsafe. Newborn babies can be unpredictable, for this reason I only book one session a day. If they need a feed or cuddle during the time, or if the sitting takes longer than expected this is of course no problem.
If possible, please try to feed your baby before you leave for your session, or on arrival, so that they are more settled. Please let me know if sibiling shots are required as this requires different kit!
Please contact me to book a provisional date before your baby is here, this can be finalised once baby has arrived. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
Babies, Children and Family Sessions
These can be done either in my home studio or on location of your choosing, dependent on the weather! They typically last around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the children involved. You may wish to bring a change of clothing for your child, so that they have 2 different outfits to wear during the session. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
Corporate Sessions
Please contact me to discuss your needs and I will tailor your session for you.
General Information
Upon booking all sessions a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. I will need to know the number of people being booked in for the session, as well as the type of session you require. If you have any specific shots in mind feel free to bring these up in advance!
After a session, I will select and edit the best images that have been captured. I will upload a sneak peek some of your images from your sitting to facebook close to the day of your session (if you do not want this please let me know). All selected photos will be uploaded to a private passworded watermarked online gallery, for 30 days. From here you will be able to make your selection of images. You can select your digital images for free download (be sure to use the voucher code sent to you!), pay for extra high resolution digital images, purchase prints, canvases, metal alumini prints and keyrings. Please pass on the link/password to friends and family if you feel they would be interested. After the 30 days, you will be subject to a retrieval fee for the images after your gallery has expired. If you wished to order more in future, please contact me. You will be able to pay for purchases via credit or debit card through paypal directly on the website, or in cash directly to me.
After you have made your digital image selection, these will be sent to you through digital download/email. You will most likely need a computer or laptop to be able to access the files, although they are accessible on some tablets/phones. If you would prefer they were put onto disc please contact me before ordering and I can arrange this directly with you.
Prints and other items ordered will be shipped directly to you. No orders will be sent until full payment has been received.

It is always best to wear clothing in natural colours (blue, beige, white, brown) that are free from large logos, letters and numbers as these can be distracting. I'd also suggest not choosing black or white boldly patterned items - You may bring a second outfit selection to change into if you wish

For family and sibling portraits, colour coordinated clothing works very well. I would advise that it isn't actually matching however!
